Stephen Rivers obtained a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina, Stephen has continued to excel in his field of endeavor. He is currently working for ExxonMobil as a Global Application Technology Leader in Alarm Management. CSTEM has proven to be a vital part of his work and knows that it is a must to be successful in any career.

In this episode Stephen discusses:
  • What makes people WIN in life and not just SUCCEED?
  • When speaking, replace the word GOT to GET. (i.e. I GOT to go to work, school, etc. Better wording - I GET to go to work today, I GET to school today) There are many people who would die for the opportunities you have in life.
  • Learn more than anyone else that is competing with you at this time, about the particular thing you are trying to achieve.
  • Be willing to put in more time on strengthening your identified weaknesses, than anyone else, to achieve your goals.
